Louise Pomminville, Illustrator

Louise Pomminville, born in Montreal, Canada, is one of Canada’s most talented and successful illustrators of children's books. She has written and illustrated over 30 books throughout her publishing career and has received numerous awards for her artistic endeavors and contribution to the world of children’s literature.

In addition to many notable collaborations as an illustrator, co-author and designer in the publishing world, Louise Pomminville has distinguished herself as an administrator in social-community organizations and in the production of thematic works, such as the colossal fresco of the Société des alcools du Québec, in downtown Montreal, which illustrates in four tables the process of making wine.

She has also won the prestigious "The Look of Book" award for her contribution to Gabrielle Roy's book, Ma Vache Bossie.

As part of a recent partnership with the Christian artist Christian Boulad, she presented one of her works to former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney and another to the famous Quebec singer Celine Dion.
