Harold Lloyd Lyon était un peintre canadien d'après-guerre et contemporain né le 18 décembre 1930 à Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Lyon, est le fils de Herbert et Anasa White Lyon.. Élève du Meinzinger School of Art de Détroit de 1948 à 1949. Collège de Ontario College Art, 1949 à 1951.

Lyon a ensuite enseigné l'art dans sa propre série télévisée de la SRC, travaillé dans la publicité et illustré à titre indépendant, notamment en tant qu'illustrateur pour la Compagnie de la Baie d'Hudson à Calgary. Lyon s'est tourné vers la peinture à temps plein en 1965 alors qu'il vivait à Calgary.

Peignant le genre occidental, ses œuvres présentent des sujets réalistes aux couleurs vives.
Harold Lyon vit avec sa femme Katherine en Arizona.

Harold Lloyd Lyon was a Canadian post-war and contemporary painter born December 18, 1930 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Lyon, is the son of Herbert and Anasa White Lyon. Student at the Meinzinger School of Art in Detroit from 1948 to 1949. College of Ontario College Art, 1949 to 1951.

Lyon went on to teach art on his own CBC television series, work in advertising and illustrate independently, including as an illustrator for the Hudson's Bay Company in Calgary. Lyon turned to painting full-time in 1965 while living in Calgary.

Painting the Western genre, his works feature realistic subjects in bright colors.
Harold Lyon lives with his wife Katherine in Arizona.
